Kingsville's terrain is generally flat and consists of glacial drift which is a mixture of rocks, sand and clay. The town was incorporated as a town in 1901.
The town has four schools: Kingsville Public School, Jack Miner Public School, Ruthven Public School and St. John de Brebeuf Catholic Elementary School. There is also one Highschool: The Kingsville District High School.
Meghan Agosta, one of the Team Canada's Women's Ice Hockey Players is from the community located in Kingsville called Ruthven. Also Paul Quantrill, a former major league baseball pitcher although was born in London, spent his childhood growing up in Kingsville.
Some attractions you can enjoy while in Kingsville are: Cottam Horse Show and Tractor Pull, Fantasy of Lights, Kingsville Christmas House Tours, Migration Festival, and the Ruthven Apple Festival (which takes place in Ruthven at Colasanti's each year). You can also go for a walk through the Lakeside Park which is located on the shore of Lake Erie. It has flower gardens, walking paths, gazebo's and a large indoor Pavilion. This park is a great way to have family get togethers, picnics, reunions, showers, stag and does, wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions.
